Can a fully focused Conor McGregor beat Khabib Nurmagomedov? That is the question fans have been asking ever since Conor made his victorious octagon return against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. Recently the light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones predicted the rematch between Conor and Khabib.
After a disappointing defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor would stay away from the sport for over a year. But he would come back stronger and bigger against UFC veteran, Donald Cerrone in a welterweight showdown. Conor put on a phenomenal performance by finishing the fight in a mere 40 seconds.
That win of Conor forced fans to speculate whether a fully prepared Conor can overcome arguably the greatest lightweight ever. Well, Jon Jones does not think the outcome going to change in the rematch.

Jon Jones on Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor Mcgregor
In a recent interview with TMZ, when asked about the rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, Jones predicted:
I typically don’t go against wrestlers if you’re asking me as a betting man. Wrestlers have the power to dictate where the fight goes, whether it’s going to be a standing match or whether he’s going to take him to the ground and make it a jiu-jitsu match. ‘I think the cards are always in Khabib’s hands. ‘Conor definitely has a chance but if I were to put my money on it. I’m definitely going with Khabib, for sure.”
