Jake Paul had a very promising 2022 with a win over UFC legend Anderson Silva. Not many people can say that they have beaten ‘Spider’ but Jake Paul has made it on the list. The controversial YouTuber also amassed a $38 million net worth in 2022. However, ‘The Problem Child’ has another agenda for the year 2023. The YouTuber-turned-fighter looks to bring some implementation to his mission. Moreover, Paul has challenged the powerhouse of combat sports and given him an ultimatum to make the changes. He has also revealed that he will fulfill his end of the bargain and enter the powerhouse’s backyard.

Jake Paul looks determined to ‘implement changes’

The year 2023 starts with a bang as Jake Paul seems determined to make some positive changes to the world of combat sports. He seems to be in a mood to create ‘problems’ for UFC President Dana White, if his tweets are to be taken seriously.

Back in January 2022, the controversial YouTuber had tweeted, Happy new year @danawhite. Here is a real challenge for you…” Paul looks like he means business and is clear in his approach to challenging White. He wrote, I will immediately retire from boxing and fight Jorge Masvidal in the UFC…” Moreover, the boxer added that he will fulfill his promise only if White fulfilled some conditions.

Following this, Paul gave an ultimatum of 5 days to the UFC President to make the changes. He clarified that he isn’t the enemy but can be considered an “advocate who selfishly wants to KO a few of you [fighters] to make some big bank”

Now, in a new tweet addressing the older one, Paul wrote, “Happy 2023 to all MMA fighters & fans. 1yr ago today I started my mission to bring awareness & change to the sport’s pay & benefits.” The controversial YouTuber added, “I’ve used my platform to consistently amplify this message. Now it’s time to not just amplify but to implement change. January is going to be [mindblowing emoji]”

The controversial Jake Paul is not holding back against the most powerful man in combat sports. One of the conditions that Paul had in his older tweet was to increase the minimum fighter pay per fight from $12K to $50K. Another condition was to give UFC fighters 50% of annual revenues.

Furthermore, he added that the fighters needed to be provided with long-term healthcare plans. Paul also wanted the UFC fighters to take a stand for themselves and their peers.
