UFC middleweight Marvin Vettori took to social media and called out YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul. It has seemingly become commonplace for Jake Paul to engage with UFC fighters on social media and, in turn, fighters are happy to return the favor. Vettori is now the latest on the long list of UFC fighters who are associated with ‘The Problem Child’.

Marvin Vettori challenged Jake Paul to a sparring session and promised to make sure he wouldn’t get past round 6. ‘The Italian Dream’ has always been confident in his stand-up skills and he’s more than ready to test it out against Paul. He tried to cajole Paul to accept the challenge by mentioning how Jake Paul is always looking to take on all comers.

Who could Jake Paul fight next?

There is no shortage of opponents for the undefeated boxer to face, especially after his recent win over Woodley. Paul starched Woodley in the sixth round and sent the former five-time UFC welterweight champion to the canvas. ‘T-Wood’ folded like a deck chair in a similar fashion to one of Paul’s previous opponents, Nate Robinson.

Jake Paul was originally slated to fight Tommy Fury, however, the younger Fury pulled out of the contest. The fight was hyped up by several combat sports fans who wanted to see Paul to test himself against an actual boxer. What’s more, John Fury and Tyson Fury spent a meaningful amount of time promoting the contest.

Despite the numerous call-outs of UFC fighters, it’s more likely than not that Jake Paul will fight Tommy Fury next. Both men were already entangled in a long-seated rivalry with each other and they’ll want to settle their score. Not to mention, Jake Paul doesn’t have any active story arc brewing with another boxer in the game.

It remains to be seen if Jake Paul is enticed by Marvin Vettori’s offer for a sparring match. Vettori isn’t the biggest name on the UFC’s roster, however, he would certainly put forth an imposing challenge. If Jake Paul gets past Vettori, his status as a legitimate boxer will be solidified in perpetuity.
