Social media platform Twitter suspended Kyrie Irving for promoting an anti-semitic film. The NBA star received massive public backlash for spreading the wrong message. Famous podcaster Joe Rogan believed it was ‘Amazon’s fault for uploading the sensitive material on their website.

The JRE host argued, “Kyrie posted a link in his story to a video, and this is why he is getting in trouble. But isn’t that video for sale on Amazon?” in episode #1898 of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast available on Spotify. The podcaster shared his opinion with his 12 million listeners on Spotify and reacted “That’s f***ing wild.”

“The film is still for sale. They want him to give up half a million dollars. They want him to make a public apology.”

The polymath didn’t appreciate how the public ignored the corporation that monetized the anti-semitic content while piling up on the athlete who shared the content.

Kyrie Irving should not be the focus according to the JRE host

Joe Rogan argued on behalf of Kyrie Irving and asked, “What did he say? Did he say, ‘This video is amazing? And I agree 100% with everything he says?’”

“That’s the craziest thing ever. Kyrie is getting in trouble and Amazon’s not. Like what? You want all this from him because he watched a video, and he sent a link to it that you are selling.”

‘Amazon’ is yet to take action to warn viewers of the content. They have attached no disclaimer to mention the sensitive material involved.

The BJJ black belt has fueled the movement against the giant corporation to answer for their choices. He demanded that the tech company bear the responsibility for the content they endorse.
