Finally, a positive update on ‘Mystic Mac’. After suffering a terrible leg injury, Conor McGregor seems to have recovered rather well. However, when a fan questioned McGregor‘s motive to do so, the UFC superstar gave a comprehensive explanation of how powerful his leg had become over the break, developing an ‘insane grip to the earth’.

Bold words by Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor seems to be on the mend after suffering a catastrophic leg injury in UFC 264. The Irishman talked about restoring his leg strength in a series of recent tweets, saying he can now ‘run full speed’. However, a fan objected to the action by questioning why he would do it. To which, The Irishman gave a lengthy explanation in response, albeit it might not have been his best choice of words.

The Dubliner wrote, “Footanklecalf strength/control is the base for everything. Most ignore. The break forced me to go here and go alone. Days after the break I’m tryna grip things with my toes. Now I’ve developed insane grip to the earth in high ball of foot stance. I’m wonder boy on juice. Nastier”.

Given the ongoing issue, the phrase “wonder boy on juice” might be interpreted in a number of unfavorable ways about McGregor. However, this also implied that he is ready to make his much-anticipated comeback, potentially against Michael Chandler, as suggested by Dana White.

McGregor vs. Chandler in the making

The news of Conor McGregor making a comeback has been doing rounds for a while and recently the news broke out that he might face Michael Chandler upon his comeback. According to Chandler, this could turn out to be the biggest fight in the history of the UFC.

This contest has long piqued Michael Chandler‘s curiosity. And thanks to White‘s tip-off to the media, Chandler may have finally gotten his dream match against McGregor. The ‘Iron’ is well-prepared and has spoken extensively about his plan of attack for the potential big battle.

However, McGregor first needs to get his thing clear with USADA, too. Which has been the talk of the town in itself. Many, including Joe Rogan, who has remarked McGregor on the subject, too. Now it is about time for how things unfold.
