UFC fighters have become common names in Esports, courtesy of their active participation with the gaming community on Twitch. Additionally, the MMA company’s deal with Twitch has also helped bring its roster to the world of gaming.
Joining the ranks of Call of Duty: War Zone is none other than undisputed featherweight champion of the world, Alexander Volkanovski. The Australian fighter, who is fresh off a championship win over Max Holloway, took to Instagram to invite the Australian tennis sensation Nick Kyrgios.

On his Instagram story, Alexander ‘The Great’ said, “Here we are, get that COD on for the boys, Nick Kyrgios let’s go.”
The 25-year-old tennis star hopped onto Instagram and promptly replied to the featherweight king as both compatriots joined hands to step into the War Zone. The number of UFC fighters switching to gaming to pass their time has risen significantly in the past few months. So much that ‘Blessed’ Holloway has made a name for himself in the gaming community.

Moreover, heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, former welterweight title contender Stephen Thompson, have quickly become common names in the gaming world.

Alexander Volkanovski has proved why he is the best featherweight fighter right now. With back-to-back victories over arguably one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all-time Max Holloway, ‘The Great’ will look to send a statement to the entire division when he makes his UFC return.

After a close title defense, Volkanovski has his eyes set on Brian Ortega. The featherweight contender is coming off a spectacular unanimous decision win over ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung.
