Conor McGregor is one of the most coveted names in the entire UFC. ‘The Irishman’ boasts unmatched fame due to his stupendous, in-ring, striking, and brash attitude outside the Octagon. McGregor’s amazing left-hand strikes have been a problem for many of his adversaries. But, they couldn’t take out ‘The Stockton Gangster’ Nate Diaz. ‘The Californian’ was the first fighter who subjected ‘The Notorious’ to his first UFC loss. The first McGregor vs. Diaz bout created massive headlines with the entire teams of both fighters getting involved in a pre-fight altercation.

Six years after their official bout, it may be said that some elements of the rivalry between the two remain to date. Recently, McGregor has been getting in on the hype of slap-fighting. Hence, he also intended to fight in them and called out ‘The Stockton Slapper’ Diaz, to a ‘slap-fight’. Diaz refused McGregor’s offer, implying that he had already defeated McGregor in this game. But ‘The Irishman’ once more fired at ‘Nick Diaz’s brother’ with a tweet, which implied that he had drawn things level.
