Conor McGregor has been in the news without even fighting once this year. The former UFC two-division champion is yet to make his return to the Octagon. But his antics outside the cage didn’t go unnoticed. The ‘Notorious’ has been very active on social media during his absence from the UFC. McGregor underwent a remarkable body transformation as he gained a considerable amount of muscle.

‘Mystic Mac’ has been dragged into a steroid conflict due to his speedy transformation. He later went on to declare his return to the USADA testing pool in February 2023. Most fighters require six months of testing. It seemed like McGregor was exempted from that rule. But USADA has stated that there will be no exception for the Irishman.

Lobov claimed he had a hand in creating the Proper 12 whiskey, which was denied by the UFC megastar. The former two-division champion was cleared of all defamation charges later.

He also posted later-deleted tweets mocking and insulting celebrities, fellow fighters, and even politicians. McGregor was also involved in a heated exchange with football legend Paul McGrath and comedian PJ Gallagher.

The star even got into a controversy with Joe Rogan.
