Conor McGregor is one of the biggest stars in the world of mixed martial arts. The Irishman has built himself a legacy in the UFC. During his prime, he was undoubtedly one of the best featherweights of all time. The former double division champion holds a professional fight record of 22 wins and seven losses as of December 2021.
According to reports, fans claimed that the Irishman was at “death’s door” while fighting in the featherweight division. However, Conor McGregor denied this claim. McGregor looked much different when he started off in the featherweight category.

He said, “Death’s door? That’s your side. I never missed weight or pulled out once! And I ran through the division in the process.” Conor then added,” Finishing with the fastest KO ever in a UFC world title fight. My weight rise was done flawlessly.”
Conor McGregor made a remarkable impact in the featherweight division when he first joined the UFC. The Irishman was on a 13 fight win streak when he beat Chad Mendes to clinch the interim featherweight belt.
To unify his featherweight belt, he faced Jose Aldo in one of his most memorable battles. He destroyed the Brazilian in 13 seconds and showed the world why he was the best featherweight at that time.
After this win, he climbed to welterweight and beat the likes of Nate Diaz. He also competed in lightweight and, after defeating Eddie Alvarez, became the first two-division champion in the promotion’s history.
Throughout his professional career,” Notorious” has never missed weight, neither has he ever complained to the media or fans about changing weight class. McGregor has fought as a featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight.

Conor keeps his fans in the loop with what goes on in his life via his Twitter. Recently, he took to Twitter to post pictures of his current shape and also revealed his weight to the fans.
