‘Disgusting’ Sean O’Malley Decision at UFC 280 Slammed by Jorge Masvidal, Dominick Reyes & Chris Weidman

UFC 280, Ethihad Arena was blown off by the bantamweight contest between Petr Yan and Sean O’Malley. Both fighters showed heart and skills that will live on forever in the division. A split decision win for ‘Suga’ surprised fans, but no one seemed disappointed with the fight, as it was one of the best encounters of 2022.

Both fighters started off quick, chiefly Petr Yan. However, O’Malley kept his composure and tagged ‘No Mercy’ and inflicted damage.

A razor-close bout with twists and turns might set the next bantamweight title challenger. While Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera is also waiting for his opportunity at the bantamweight strap, O’Malley might have just surpassed ‘Chito’ with this performance against a former two-time bantamweight champion (1 interim).
