Ismael Bonfim defeated Terrance McKinney via a devastating knockout at UFC 283. McKinney fought the Brazilian Bonfim on the early prelim card of UFC 283. Two of the surging lightweight prospects, ‘T Wrecks’ and ‘Marreta’ had a lot of eyes on them going into this fight. However, the 27-year-old Brazilian rose to the occasion and delivered a devastating knockout to bring the Jeunesse Arena to its feet.
Bonfim’s win came via a jumping switch knee in the second round.

McKinney came into the fight, losing only one out of his last five. Meanwhile, Bonfim was riding a perfect 5 out of 5 win streak. Both fighters had a competitive first round, with Bonfim appearing to have the upper hand. He found his moment in the second and delivered a highlight reel knockout.
Bonfim baited McKinney into the perfect position for a knee. He picked his moment and landed a jumping switch knee and delivered a walk-off knockout.
