Ferguson’s last opponent was, current number 3 ranked, Beneil Dariush. Despite his valiant efforts, Ferguson lost the fight by unanimous decision.

Prior to that, he lost back-to-back fights against Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje. Ferguson did not look good in these fights.
