After becoming a superstar in the world of MMA, the internet is filled with his pictures. Sadly, as revealed by him in 2021, he has a full-time photographer around him because he lost most of his childhood pictures years ago.

‘The Notorious’ once shared snaps of 90-year-old May Gleeson on his Instagram account. Gleeson and her family lived across from the fighter’s childhood home in Crumlin, Dublin.

He thanked Gleeson and further wrote, “We lost all our family childhood photos many years ago, so there is not many of me or my family available anymore and that saddens me deeply, so to see some is always a real treat for me.”

“I attribute this as to why I have had a full time photographer and videographer around my family and my own life the last so many years.”

Thus, while he lost his childhood pictures, the fighter doesn’t want to risk the same once again. He is afraid that he wouldn’t have anything to look back at.

 “It’s the sole reason I was able to do all those documentaries coming up because I was scared I would not have anything at all to look back on in years to come…”.

Thus, the father of three wants to have a lot of videos and pictures that he and his children can look back to.

‘Mystic Mac’ is one of the most famous fighters in the UFC today. However, that was not the case when he started out. As reported by ‘Bleacher Report‘, his first ever professional MMA bout took place in a basketball gym. Nobody knew who he was and hence, he was on the undercard. McGregor jumped right in and knocked out his opponent.

But the fighter began to gain recognition in Cage Warriors and the UFC. In the latter promotion, he has given some of the biggest fights.
