“I’m Not Fu**ing Around Here” – UFC Analyst Details How ‘Lackadaisical’ Jon Jones’ Heavyweight Return Will Be All About Making a Statement
2023 will be a thrilling year for UFC fans worldwide. After all, Jon Jones is set to make his comeback against Ciryl Gane. Jones will make his heavyweight debut on UFC 285 in March, after a legendary run at light heavyweight. Everyone is waiting to witness how the former UFC light heavyweight champion will fight. The longest-reigning light heavyweight in UFC history was a huge achievement. Now, he aims to take on the heavier division which has invited some experts like Paul Felder to comment on his return.
Jon Jones was lackadaisical?
In his last bout, Bones defeated Dominick Reyes on February 8, 2020, winning by unanimous decision in round 5. Nearly three years have passed since then. He soon made the decision to move up weight classes and gave up his light heavyweight belt. In order to compete against more powerful opponents at heavyweight, he made regular efforts to put on weight. Nevertheless, there is always a chance that a game’s result will be unpredictable. The UFC analyst and commentator Paul Felder recently discussed Jon Jones’ comeback. He informed the spectators of the two possible outcomes when Jones makes his heavyweight debut. It has the potential to either make the fighter weaker or more dangerous than before.

I think he was getting a little lackadaisical in there.” Addressing his last few bouts he added “When he makes his return at heavyweight, I think they’ll be a little bit more ‘I’m not f****** around here, this isn’t my 12th title defense, I need to go out there and get the job done.”
