“Jada Pinkett Smith Is Looking Stunning at the Met Gala” – Georges St-Pierre’s Former UFC Rival Jake Shields

It looks like the Oscars fiasco between Will Smith and Chris Rock hasn’t ended in the mind of various people. With a majority of people coming to Chris Rock’s support after the notorious incident, personalities around the world also proceeded to make jokes about it. 

This time around, Jake Shields, Georges St. Pierre‘s rival, entered the fray. After the Met Gala 2022 took place, Shields took a jab at the Matrix actress by comparing her to NYC’s Mayor, Eric Adams. The former UFC welterweight tweeted, “Jada Pinkett Smith is looking stunning at the Met Gala.

We can always count on MMA personalities to try to rile up the fans and get them talking. But, all in a good joke, Shields probably meant to tweet this in nothing but a fun sense of banter.

Jake Shields- Time in the UFC and post UFC career

Jake Shields’s prime time was when he fought Georges St. Pierre in a welterweight bout. He lost to him unanimously, marking his first loss in over six years. After a bunch of wins and losses, the UFC released Shields. Subsequently, he moved to the world series of fighting and is currently fighting in the PFL.

Two of Shields’s most memorable fights were against St. Pierre and former welterweight champ Tyron Woodley. He also had a notorious moment with AJ Agazarm and hit Chael Sonnen, who was trying to stop the altercation.

Jake Shields is a self-proclaimed lifelong vegetarian. This might be rather surprising for a fighter in the UFC. Of course, a vegetarian diet is also good for a healthy and strong build, but the quantities consumed are usually a lot higher to match the protein value of meat.

That being said, Jake Shields might be a vegetarian in his diet, but that does not stop the American MMA professional from devouring his opponents in the octagon or even on social media. 

Come what may, Shields has had a fruitful career in the world of MMA and has fought some of the best fighters in the octagon.
