Jon Jones last fought at UFC 247 in 2020, where he successfully defended his light heavyweight title. However, everything went haywire for the ‘Bones’ as he vacated his title in August of that year. Since then, the Albuquerque resident has been on a two-year layoff. If the latest murmurs are to be believed, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is ready to end his Octagon exile. And a former UFC champion wants the ‘Bones’ to go ‘full-on Mike Tyson’.
In episode 430 of the popular podcast- Believe You Me, Michael Bisping sat with the new signee Bo Nickal. Interestingly, the duo discussed the wrestling invasion that will reshape the UFC, how Bo Nickal’s UFC career will be different, and Anderson Silva’s training knockouts. Michael Bisping’s advice to Jones
However, the UFC Hall of Famer declared, “The point I was making is that, is that, the problem is that then he balances that out with all the religious talk. And, and you know the, the do-goody, the goody two shoes image. The two don’t go.”
Instead, the 43-year-old fighter advised, “So if you just went full Mike Tyson, I was like ‘f**k you all. This is me. Kiss my a**. This is what I’m doing. I’m the baddest motherf***er on the planet, alright. Deal with it’.”
