It goes back to when McGregor sold his Proper Twelve Irish whiskey brand last year. The ‘Russian Hammer’ claims to be the one who came up with the idea and has filed a lawsuit against McGregor for 5% of the profit. However, in the recent turn of events, McGregor reveals that the Russian fighter swore on his child’s life that he will not claim the money.

Their friendship predates the UFC debut of the ‘Mystic Mac’ way back in 2013. Furthermore, The Irish superstar even coached the Russian fighter in one season of the Ultimate Fighter.
