Tiger Woods’ Public Apology From 2010 Called “Completely Insincere” After Unusual Liver King Comparison

Former UFC multiple division star Chael Sonnen does not buy Liver King’s apology. Moreover, he explains why by referring to Tiger Woods’ apology. ‘The American Gangster’ runs his own YouTube channel and has garnered a huge and loyal fan base. There he often divulges in combat sports-related topics and sometimes trending news. As such, he explained why, according to him, the Liver King’s apology is blatantly ‘insincere’.

Liver King took over social media by displaying his healthy lifestyle and attaining a Greek god-like figure with the help of a carnivorous diet. Moreover, he claimed that he wasn’t using any growth-promoting substance, primarily steroids. Yet an email leak proved that not only he was actively using steroids, but also spending over $10,000 a month on them.

Many celebrities have commented on the Liver King controversy. And since the whole situation had caused a huge uproar, he had to apologize. However, this was not well received by internet users worldwide.

Although Liver King gave a public apology, it lacked a human touch. Moreover, the UFC multiple division stars felt it was done in character.

It also made him nostalgic about another incident similar to this. He explains how when Tiger Woods got in a jam; he gave an apology lacking a humane feeling as well.

The five masters tournament winner chose to remain quiet until a press conference, wherein he made his pre-written apology. Moreover, he walked off the stage after giving his apology. However, this was the first step in ‘moving on’ from the incident that he was correcting.

Sonnen said, ” So I follow a lot of these things in PR, and when you get to the Liver King. Where I tell you that I find this interesting. You do have to understand. When he gave his apology in character. I have never seen that… I have never seen somebody do that in character.
