UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko returns to action this weekend at UFC 261 as she defends her throne against former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade. Shevchenko is considered one of the greatest female fighters of all time to grace the Octagon. She has established her dominance on the 125 lbs division over the years.

However, she has many other hobbies apart from fighting. One of them is shooting. ‘Bullet’ is a gun lover and even has a tattoo on her body of a gun. She has painted it in her waist area and it only adds to her tough persona.

The tattoo on her abdominal area is of her favorite firearm, a Glock 19. In an interview ahead of UFC 238, Shevchenko explained the meaning of it. “I’ve been involved in shooting sports a lot. It’s one of my biggest passions. Now I feel it has the same part of my life as martial arts,” said ‘Bullet’.

I very love to shoot with Glock. It’s very good gun because it can shoot everywhere. It’s very easy to carry. It can survive in different condition of weather or whatever, and that’s why I have tattoo on my body of a Glock 19,” she added.

So, that tattoo is of her favorite weapon, it’s as simple as that. In another interview, she said, “It is universal, just like an MMA fighter. That is why I got a tattoo on my lower abdomen several years ago. So, now I can always keep it near me.

The Kyrgyz fighter has another tattoo of a snow leopard which probably signifies her link to Muay Thai as suggested by her Twitter post dated back to 2018.
