‘You Don’t Know What the F**k You’re Talking About’- Joe Rogan Fires Back at Fans for Their Take on Nate Diaz vs Leon Edwards

Nate Diaz last fought at UFC 263 and lost a decision against Leon Edwards. UFC color commentator Joe Rogan broke down the final minute of the contest recently. Diaz, despite being dominated over the course of the 5-rounds, managed to significantly hurt Edwards at the final minutes of the fight.

He caught ‘Rocky’ with a slap and punch combo and many fans believe the Stockton native made a mistake as he pointed at Edwards rather than charging for the finish. Rogan believes those claims are not true as Diaz would have only risked himself had he rushed recklessly.

“He hurts Leon Edwards and points at him. He’s like ‘I got you’. Oh my god, I had an argument with someone they were like, yeah, he let Leon off the hook, he should have gone after him,” said Diaz.

“I’m like you don’t know what the f*ck you are talking about. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. Leon ‘s not dead, like you don’t just go after him. You go after him you run into a straight left. Watch Pat Barry vs Chieck Kongo, eatch Pete Sell vs Scott Smith. When people go after people recklessly, they get cracked,” he further added.

Diaz might have lost the fight, but his stock rose once again. The final minute of the contest was enough to prove to the UFC faithful that he is still a relevant contender against anybody.

What’s next for Nate Diaz?

Diaz has been called out by several top-ranked welterweights recently. However, Rogan believes it’s the much-anticipated trilogy fight against Conor McGregor, that is next for the Stockton native. McGregor is currently riding a 2-fight skid and has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights in the UFC.

The duo is currently 1-1 with each having a win over the other. Fans will love to see the trilogy fight go down as it is hands down one of the biggest rivalries in the history of the sport.
