While Israel Adesanya is a UFC star himself, it looks like there are a few personalities that intrigue him. One such person is Dwayne Johnson. Hence, in a new podcast, Adesanya spoke about how he felt after meeting ‘The Rock’ and Joe Rogan.

Adesanya drew a comparison to how he felt about meeting Joe Rogan and Johnson. He said, “Me and Joe, the first few times I met Joe, it was like ‘woah’. Now it’s like ‘oh, that’s my … Joe.”

After having followed Dwayne Johnson’s long career, it would have been a huge deal to meet him in person. Thus, it looks like the UFC fighter needs more time to get used to the famous WWE wrestler’s presence.

Similarly, he has also been intrigued by Booker T. The middleweight champion had recognized Booker T at his UFC 271 press conference. It was evident how much of a fan the champion has been.

What does Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson think of Israel Adesanya?

While the UFC fighter is a big fan of Johnson, it seems like ‘The Rock’ is equally impressed by Adesanya. Prior to his UFC 271 title defense against Robert Whittaker, Adesanya received a gift from his idol.

‘The Last Stylebender’ received a special cheat meal called ‘The Bunny Chow’. The meal, which is a South African delicacy, had Indian roots and happens to be the wrestler turned actor’s favorite meal.
