The two-division champion, Henry Cejudo seems to have many options ahead of him at the moment. The flyweight and bantamweight champion can either defend his flyweight title against Joseph Benavidez or he can move up to bantamweight.

However, it’s safe to say that in bantamweight there are more intriguing opponents for Henry Cejudo. There is an ongoing rivalry between former champion, Dominic Cruz and Henry Cejudo which is very likely to result in these two fighters battling it out inside the octagon. We also have Frankie Edgar who will be moving down to bantamweight after his loss to Max Holloway in featherweight division. Apart from that, when TJ Dillashaw returns the rematch between him and Cejudo will be huge too.

“It’s stressful to hold two divisions. I don’t want that stress on me. So I am gonna have to choose and in both the weight classes 135 looks more appetizing, to be honest with you. But there is a loss on my record against Joe and that stings a little bit. I am weighing about 155 right now.”

Henry Cejudo seems to be leaning towards the fight with Dominick Cruz at the moment as he believes this fight will be an easy one compared to his past few fights. Cejudo sends a message to the former champ and said:

“I want to hurt him. That’s the reason why at 135 he is my number one pick. cause I want to hurt him. he is a smarty pant and I really don’t want that. Every time he fights somebody he talks about their character. And to me, it’s about being an entertainer and selling a fight. But I don’t like him. I want an easy fight, I want a tune-up fight. So Dominic Cruz, if you are watching you, will bend the knee to CCC.”
