Francis Ngannou has been going back-and-forth over the possibility of a boxing match in the future. Since he already has thunderous power in his hands, experts suggest he will have to work on his control a little bit. However, young and exciting lightweight champ Ryan Garcia thinks Nagnnou is already more skilled than former WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder.

The WBC Silver lightweight champ Garcia had a sort of a training session with Ngannou a while back. ‘The Flash’ experienced the strength of Ngannou first hand. Just like Garcia’s speed is a spectacle to watch, so is Ngannou’s power. Garcia was particularly impressed after watching the last fight of the Cameroonian heavyweight against Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

“I seen his fight and I was like this dude is the craziest person in the world. Like he just came up and knocked that dude out. That was nasty. And that guy was talking a big game too the other guy. He was like he ain’t gonna beat me. Whatever. When I met Francis I was like this dude is like Superman. This dude is huge,” Ryan Garcia said while talking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

Ryan Garcia thinks Deontay Wilder gets wild sometimes

Francis Ngannou and Dillian Whyte have often challenged each other for a fight. However, Francis is more concerned about getting his hands on that elusive UFC heavyweight belt as of now. With multiple consecutive first-round victories, ‘The Predator’ has earned the right to be the next challenger for the belt.

Ryan Garcia compared Ngannou’s power with that of Deontay Wilder. Being a pugilist, one would expect ‘The Bronze Bomber’ to have more technique in his game. However, Garcia thinks otherwise.

“I think he has this insane power in his hand. He’s kind of like Deontay Wilder. You don’t have to worry about technique because you hit so hard. That’s what I have seen in him. I think he’s better skilled. Deontay Wilder goes crazy sometimes,” Garcia added.

With crossovers between MMA and boxing being discussed more and more, it wouldn’t be surprising if Ngannou makes a switch to the other side for a fight or two.

Do you think Francis Ngannou stands a legitimate chance against someone like Deontay Wilder?
