Jorge Masvidal and his antics have been on full display lately. He is everywhere, giving interviews to the likes of Ariel Helwani and Adam Catterall. His exaggerated confidence regarding his fight against Kamaru Usman keeps us entertained. The mind games are now deepening as the D-Day approaches. Every hour is heated, and we are witnessing back-to-back exchanging of virtual punches from the two fighters.

In case you missed it, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had said earlier that Masvidal can be the Fighter of the Year. Well, Jorge is definitely pushing harder after that match when he beat Nate Diaz. However, of late, The Gamebred has been seen mocking The Nigerian Nightmare on Twitter. He shared a picture of Kamaru in a flight and wrote, “Rode in on dana whites lap now you are on a private plane? Which personality showed up to fight island?”

Kamaru Usman has a message for Jorge Masvidal

The author of Ali Vs. Inoki, Josh Gross, tweeted something that throws light on Usman’s feelings. Usman points out how Jorge has transformed into a ‘flashy’ personality. He also showers praises (not sure if it is sarcasm) on Masvidal’s management team on how they have developed a sellable character around him. Lastly, he talks about the fact that he has defeated some very fierce opponents in the past, and hence, can not be taken lightly.

Meanwhile, Usman is dropping additional bombs!

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ too does not back down when it comes to trash-talking his opponents. A ripe example of that is his pinned tweet, which tags Conor McGregor, “I don’t really understand why you all want this man DEAD!!! I’d s**g him in there if I wanted and he’d “DO NOTHING” FOH”.

Well, that hyped face-off was laid to rest by Dana earlier this year.

That was that. But recently, Usman shared a dreadful ESPN MMA video which puts on display how Championship dreams can turn into “nightmares.”

Not sure whether these antics are enough to make Masvidal feel fearful or even angrier. But this brawl outside of the Octagon is surely going to make this main event indeed very lucrative. Masvidal’s grappling and Kamaru’s power punches will be a treat to the eyes in UFC 251.
