Tony Ferguson is on his road to a speedy recovery after fate picked to oppose him in his bout with Justin Gaethje.

Apparently, he is quite happy about the fact that he will be returning home again. He recently posted a video on his social media handles of himself moving to the beats of groovy music. However, the element that seemed odd was his hospital robe and the equipment he was dancing with.

But then, it is always nice to leave a hospital as a healthier person!

Looks like El Cucuy is really looking forward to leaving that hospital! The fighter spirit in him remains intact. And this means that the danger of the boogeyman still lurks over the fighters of the Lightweight Division. As he said himself after the fight, it just was not his day.

Is the Tony Ferguson – Khabib Nurmagomedov saga over?

Justin Gaethje snapped a 12-fight-streak this Saturday. In addition to that, he also became the new UFC Interim Lightweight Champion. Thus, he is next in line to face the Lightweight Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The fact that Ferguson will not get a title shot anytime soon is a heartbreaking reality for every fight fan out there. He had been in line for the longest possible time. His title shot failed from materializing all 5 times that the UFC fixed it.

However, El Cucuy is not done yet. In his post-fight interview, he said that he is far from retiring. He is looking forward to the “consolation” fight.

And now, if The Eagle manages to retain his belt after facing Gaethje, there might be a chance that we witness the revival of the Tony Ferguson – Khabib Nurmagomedov saga.

It is well-known that Ferguson is not one to back down. He will do all it takes to get back in action and claim what he believes is rightfully his.
