Reiss believed that it was a close fight but did not know who was ahead. With regards to the 12th round knockdown of Tyson Fury, Reiss said, “It was the best decision I ever made in a boxing match”

Reiss then explained his experience with trauma and other injuries. He felt that Tyson Fury was not knocked out cold. The referee then took a jab at the fans who claimed that he gave Fury a longer count.

Reiss said, “My count itself was absolutely on the money. I am not saying I’m perfect but I just happen to be pretty damn good that night. And he was up as I was saying 9. As far as the long count, or making him walk right or left, they just don’t understand our job and our role.”
