Reports came out that Conor McGregor will make his Hollywood debut in the remake of the 1989 classic Road House. The highest-paid UFC athlete will star alongside beloved actor Jake Gyllenhaal. The news created a buzz inside the MMA community, but little did they know that in 2015, the reports suggested that the former UFC bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, would feature in the movie.
Rousey was reported to play Patrick Swayze’s character in the movie. The Rowdy One even took permission from Swayze’s widow to portray his iconic character. But for some reason, this film did not hit floors.

Even the MMA space was broken when it was announced that Conor McGregor will star in the 80s masterpiece remake. Though the Irishman’s role was not revealed, there was a ton of buzz around his Hollywood arrival. And with a tweet, the UFC’s biggest cash cow took it to another level.
Rousey, who recently lost a controversial bout against Liv Morgan at SummerSlam, appears to have had an awful week for her.
