Genuine question, how is this clickbait? If it's a race you're going to be in and they are selling tickets to that race, in what way is it simply click bait?

While one Twitter user wrote, “Genuine question, how is this clickbait? If it’s a race you’re going to be in and they are selling tickets to that race, in what way is it simply click bait?”
I think she is referring to how they are using her image to promote the race to boost ticket sales, but them ass runners won't see any revenue from.

How is buying a ticket to see you compete clickbait ? Any track meet is going to market itself by advertising the star athletes. I’m assuming & hoping you will be paid for this meet ? Great to see you running into fantastic form & hoping this continues in NYC👍🏽

This isn’t clickbait. It’s free advertising and free promotion. USATF also own this image. You should know this!

Get a publicist / PR person to manage your page and stop fighting with everyone directly. That's not a good look. You are going to be one of the greats. Don't let people bait you!!!— Jerel Washington (@JerelWashington) June 7, 2022

Ever since Justin Gatlin made a shocking claim about Sha’Carri clocking 10.5s and 10.3s in training, fans have been waiting to see her deliver the same. Fans were annoyed with her dismal return to track with a time of 11.37seconds as social media was quick to call out Gatlin over his claims.
However, Richardson made a comeback in her next race, breaking the sub-11second barrier with a time of 10.92seconds. But the young American sprinter is still far from Justin’s claims. She still has to push and improve her time by 0.40 seconds to enter the category Justin puts her in.

The USATF NYC Grand Prix might be the perfect stage for Richardson to improve her time and even better her personal best time of 10.72seconds.
