When Sha’Carri Richardson tested positive by the Anti-Doping Agency, they imposed a ban on her for 30 days, forcing her to miss the Tokyo Olympics. Valieva talked about the incident which made her dejected.

“These [past] days have been very difficult for me. It’s as if I don’t have any emotions left. I am happy but at the same time I am emotionally tired,” said Valieva.
