Ronnie Coleman is one of the biggest bodybuilders in the history of the sport. He has the record number of Mr. Olympia titles tied with Lee Haney. However, the extremely vigorous process behind the screen is unimaginable. At the time of no social media, people weren’t aware of his workout regimen and everything like people today are.

However, after retirement and in recent times, Ronnie has opened up a lot about the experiences he faced in his career. A few years back, Coleman captioned an Instagram post and revealed the pain he had endured during his bodybuilding career.

Ronnie Coleman is a massive model of success. Indeed, he has achieved tons of achievements in his life. But the important thing is how much has he sacrificed for his achievements. Coleman trained immensely hard for being the best. His workout regimens and the visual of him working out even made his opponents sweat.

There wasn’t any count of sets and reps. He just put it all when it comes to training. In 2020, he posted on Instagram, where he put a question for his fans. He wrote“So you still want to become a bodybuilder like me and have the same training morale like me? As you can see, I’m an 8-time Mr. Olympia and I can’t walk. I went through a back surgery that lasted 11 hours.”

He always trained his muscles very heavily. He just wanted to get thicker muscles and strong. However, another person who needs to be credited for his success is his gym trainer. If he wouldn’t be given a free membership to him in an exchange for his competition, Ronnie wouldn’t have ever entered bodybuilding. Henceforth, he deserves big credit for Ronnie’s success.

The vigorous training didn’t just make him the biggest, but also took a toll on him post-retirement. Coleman had suffered some serious pain in his life after retiring. The back and hip injuries he sustained have caused him unendurable pain. Moreover, to get rid of it, he has undergone more than a dozen surgeries. However, the pain never decreased, and he revealed that he bore it 24/7.

After all the hip and back surgeries, he eventually couldn’t able to walk without support. Fortunately, he discovered a treatment that is helping him to live a painless life compared to what he was living. The stem-cell therapy relieved his pain to the highest degree he can wish.
