The first condition was to get a handsome salary of $29.25 million for his role. He added a clause to get the payment whether or not the movie gets produced. Although it sounded weird, Arnold wanted $3 million upfront, but the rest of the sum gets paid over 19 weeks of production. Smartly, he had a clause on how he would receive an additional payment of $1.6 million every week if the movie took more time than the 19-week limit.

He wanted $1.5 million for private jet rides and a gym trailer with stocked pieces of equipment. The demands did not end there. He wanted three deluxe suits for filming locations and access to bodybuilders and limousines during the day.

During the movie Twins, he decided against a salary payment for the role but received royalties from the movie. The move turned out to be revolutionary in Hollywood as he minted money after the movie’s success. But this time, things were different. Even getting paid upfront, Arnold required 20% of the gross receipts from home video sales, movie tickets, and other licensing deals involving the movie. Having the final call in whoever came to act with him and the finer details of the movie cast, Arnold made an outstanding deal. 

To have business acumen like the Austrian Oak is something else. He became a millionaire before he entered his acting career. The principle he followed in real estate was the blueprint for his success in Hollywood. Hence, the Terminator 3 deal fetched him millions.
