No matter what you do, the past cannot be changed. However, it’s only our past that defines who we become in the future. Perhaps if the bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger hadn’t gone through such hardship in his early life, he wouldn’t have been where he is today. Though sometimes he may wonder that if only he could have a better relationship with his father, things would have been different.

The former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger has achieved almost everything in his life. The moment he left Austria and started his journey in America, everything he touched became gold; from bodybuilding to Hollywood, to a successful entrepreneur and a great politician. Arnold has certainly seen every color of the rainbow.

Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t attend his brother’s funeral

They say with time the anger gets diluted and forgiveness is the virtue of the great. However, Arnold couldn’t forget what his father made him go through. Therefore, when his elder brother Meinhard died, he didn’t attend his funeral, nor did he attend his father’s funeral. When his mother asked him to come to his father’s funeral, Arnold replied, “No, it’s too late. He’s dead and nothing can be done.”

Whereas, on his childhood experience, Arnold said, “You know that you have to struggle from the beginning; otherwise you wouldn’t be leaving your country. If you had this wonderful, rosy atmosphere, you would not want to leave.”

Arnold paid for his entire education since he was 3-year-old and provided him with every amenity till he became successful enough to mend his own way into the world.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a man who not only made his life better but also contributed to those around him.
