Floyd Mayweather’s $600 Million Fight Was Under Threat of Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Take Over

Back in the 80s, ‘Terminator’ Arnold Schwarzenegger and ‘Rocky’ Sylvester Stallone were each other’s biggest rivals in the acting industry. Often they used trickery to get an edge over the other. However, now it feels like they have been friends for a long time. Therefore, the two Hollywood action superstars proposed to recreate the infamous Mayweather-Pacquiao fight with them against each other.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have fought before, but only in movies. However, watching them go against each other in a real ring fight would be the actual fight of the century.

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger proposed a boxing rematch

A week after the infamous Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight in 2015, the paparazzi asked Arnold and Stallone about the same. Sly, who seemed to be in a great mood, replied, “Yeah, I would have thought that the place would have erupted into celebration that everyone was so happy.”

However, when the journalists further poked them on whether or not they thought there would be a rematch. The Rocky actor proposed a better solution. He said, “Actually Arnold and I are going to do the rematch. We’re going to do a guest replacement,’ which Arnold seconded by saying they would, “Probably about 30 rounds.”

Well, Sly was certainly joking, but if these two mega celebrities decide to have a boxing match someday, the numbers will surely be off the charts.

How much money would Schwarzenegger and Stallone’s boxing match have earned?

Since they were talking about a rematch of the richest fight of all time, money is definitely the thing to be considered here. According to a report, the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. generated $600 million. Additionally, it generated a record 4.4 million PPV buys and shattered the previous record of 2.48 million PPV buys from Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya’s fight in 2007.

Bodybuilding legend Arnold and Hollywood action superstar Sylvester Stallone certainly have stardom unlike no other. Hence, there is a possibility that their encounter in the ring could generate a humongous amount of money. Furthermore, it might go down in history as the richest fight ever. However, it probably has a tiny chance of happening, but if it does happen, it’s definitely going to be worth watching.
