Despite having two heart surgeries, he continues to raise his fitness levels, and at 75, he still looks strong as always. “My current fitness routine includes cycling every day for around 45 minutes to an hour. I follow that by working out with weights for half an hour. The training itself has evolved a lot from when I was competing in bodybuilding, when I needed to work out for about five hours a day,” said Arnold. The radical changes in training are typical to the naked eye.

Being a world-class bodybuilder for years, training five hours was a mandate. But now, he focuses on workouts suited to his age. Never has been a time when he stopped working out as if bodybuilding literally flows through his veins.

Changing routines but not stopping
The Austrian Oak revealed how training for bodybuilding and becoming an actor look completely different. He explained a story of weighing up to 210 pounds as the director of Stay Hungry wanted him to lose 30 pounds. His commitment to going to the next level showcases his never-ending determination. Earlier, he trained six days a week and had a regular rest day on Sunday.
During those times, he had separate days for arms, legs, and chests but what’s interesting is the non-stop instinct training for his abs. Along with those workouts, he studied nutrition, took the right supplements, learned the detrimental effects of sugary foods, and more. Therefore, he stays fit at 75. Fans reckon he can still put on a show for a bodybuilding contest even at this age.
