Some celebrities become lifelong friends after co-starring in movies together. But such instances don’t happen everyday. It’s very rare that something like this happens in the industry. Moreover, very few celebrities come out to share good things about their co-stars decades after a movie’s release. But a co-star of Arnold Schwarzenegger who was part of one of his early blockbusters did just that.
By the late 1980s, Schwarzenegger had already made his mark as an action superstar. So he wanted to try his hand at other genres, specifically comedy.

The co-star that who praised Arnold Schwarzenegger
After Twins became a box office success, Schwarzenegger tried his luck with comedies for a while. And as was the norm back then, most of his movies were blockbusters.
One such movie was “Kindergarten Cop,” where the star played the role of a cop. The film instantly became a box office hit and collected around $202 million worldwide. But it was his co-star Pamela Reed who had good things to say about the actor over three decades after the movie’s release.

In 2020, Pamela revealed the experience of acting opposite Schwarzenegger in the movie during an interview. Reminiscing the time, she said, “He was generous to a fault.”
“He was willing to try anything. He was delightful. He was really, really great,” added Reed.
It was not the only time the actress appeared in a movie with the former Mr. Olympia. The two acted together four years later in another comedy movie, Junior. This movie became another box office hit during its release. It made even more than Kindergarten Cop.

It was a rare spectacle when Reed shared her experience working with Schwarzenegger. Such events seldom transpire in the industry. Actors do not come forward to share their good experiences in projects three decades after their release.
And generally, the opposite is true these days. Celebrities open up about older projects wishing to express their dissatisfaction with them. But that did not turn out to be the case with Arnie.
