Arnold Schwarzenegger rose to legendary status in the bodybuilding universe before he made a mark in acting. Unsurprisingly, he always had his eyes set on acting. Therefore, the former bodybuilder would never skip a chance to act in a movie during the initial phase of his acting career.
Therefore, when he debuted in a movie, he was not even credited with his original name. The makers credited the Terminator star as Arnold Strong in the film. But the young actor did not seem to mind; he was happy fulfilling his dream of becoming an actor.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was not even credited for this cameo role
Schwarzenegger did not always have the reputation in the acting industry that he currently enjoys. Although he has enjoyed this status since the early 80s, he struggled quite a bit to make a mark in the industry.
Following his unsuccessful attempt at launching his acting career with Hercules in New York, he had to appear in a series of cameo roles, some of which went uncredited. Among them was the 1973 movie The Long Goodbye.

Schwarzenegger made his debut with Hercules in New York in 1970. Back then, the bodybuilder-turned-actor was still new to acting. However, he still scooped the lead role in the film, partly because the character for the lead role was Hercules. And the makers deemed him appropriate to portray the demi-god.
By the early 80s, the action star became the leading face of the action genre with blockbusters like Conan the Barbarian and The Terminator. Both movies enjoy a fair share of a cult following to this day, and it will not fade anytime soon. In subsequent years, the former Governor became synonymous with action films.
