Big Ramy is a big name in the bodybuilding community. His pumped and colossal muscles have always been the talk of the town. Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay is self-made and has worked hard to get to the point where he stands now. Big Ramy was born in Egypt, but he moved to Kuwait and became a fisherman. It was in Kuwait’s Oxygen Gym where he first started working out and then realized he could make a career out of bodybuilding. While Big Ramy won the Mr. Olympia title in 2020 and 2021, he did not fare so well in this year’s competition and did not take the Mr. Olympia title home.

As someone who won the title two consecutive years in a row, this year might come as disappointing.

His state of mind is reflected in his Instagram post, where he has shared a reel showing off his shredded body. It’s like a challenge to his competitors to never overlook him, no matter what.

He said, “If you mean how I feel after the show, yeah… I really need to have a great plan to come back again for the show. That’s what’s in my head all the time right now. I need a great plan for next year to get my title again.”

Even though he did not place well, that did not affect his sportsmanship, as he praised Hadi Choopan for winning the title. “He is one of the greatest bodybuilders right now, he’s the Mr. Olympia — and he’s a great champion.”
