Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t have many expectations before he saw it

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s doubt about the movie’s outcome wasn’t because of a weak script or how the schedule went. It was because of a movie called ‘Exterminator’ which was released in 1980. The Exterminator had a good earning span and earned $4,369,703 worldwide. And the doubt was about whether the audience will misjudge their movie like some copy of ‘Exterminator’.

Arnold continued, “Here’s just another one because the year before came out ‘Exterminator’, now it was ‘Terminator’. What else is gonna be next, type of thing, right?”

The way it was shot, the way it was lit, the way it was directed, everything, the way it was written. It was just really very, very special.”
