“Struggled With Eating Disorder”: WWE Champion Bianca Belair Shows off Ripped Body in Bodybuilding Competition

The EST of WWE, Bianca Belair, the current champion of WWE Raw Women’s Champion, needs no formal introduction. Known for her incredible strength, the 33-year-old displays athleticism every time she steps into a ring. Also, off the ring, she has an active and solid presence. In a recent Instagram post, while speaking about body positivity, the WWE fame athlete talked about her “unhealthy relationship with food.”
Penning down her journey, the wrestling star shows why it is important never to give up. She may now look fit, but the road to achieving it was not easy. Opening up, the champion shares her part of the journey.

For Bianca Belair, the fight was off the rim as well
Bianca put in 10 weeks of hard work for the WBFF Entertainment Pro Atlantic City Pro-Am event; the pain bore sweet results. As she posted a series of photos of herself from the event, the wrestling champion talked about her ten weeks journey. Shedding light, she revealed the journey has helped her discover herself. She talks about the little girl from High School and College who has “grown and evolved.”

She adds she was “obsessed with being the best but took it too far and over trained constantly.” Despite having “struggled with eating disorders,” she never came up. There was a time, as she revealed when she “couldn’t even hear the word “diet” without being triggered.” But things have now changed. The urge to push and test herself motivated her. She wanted to try whether or not she could commit herself to a change.

All she wanted was to discover and listen to her own body check whether or not she could diet again “without going off on the deep end.” The journey for her was, however, not easy. During the course, she faced fears, but during the ten weeks, she relearned herself. Stunning people, and in just ten weeks, she again gets to show everyone her well-built ripped body. Leaving the fans impressed, she has thus proved where there is a will, there is a way.

What did the journey teach Bianca?
However, for the ring champion, the tedious journey of 10 weeks bought in a sweet delight. The journey took her to the path of self-discovery. She acknowledged that juggling her training time, WWE schedule, live events, and other commitments was “physically challenging.”
For her, it was hard, but as she revealed, she gave it all. Such was her dedication that even after her matches and shows, she would stay late at night in the gym to ensure she was getting her workouts. Amidst the constant travels, she made it a point to travel with meal prep and follow her diet. The journey for her was, thus, physically and mentally trying. But she did not give up, and as she quote, in the end, she “felt right at home.”
