Gymnast Simone Biles Had a Lifelong Dream Of Becoming a Part of the NFL With This Role

Simone Biles is one of the best gymnasts in the world. She is the most decorated US Women’s gymnast ever. Biles has a total of 32 medals at the Olympics and the World level tournaments. However, she always wanted to be a part of the NFL since the start.

Back in 2017, Simone Biles tweeted out, “honestly how fun would it be to be an NFL cheerleader.” It was just one of the posts that showed her excitement about becoming a cheerleader in the NFL.

In 2015, she was seen with the cheerleaders of the Houston Texans. She also tweeted out the photo with the caption, “In my next life I’ll be an NFL Cheerleader.” 

With Biles being a good gymnast, she could have automatically been a great cheerleader. Even though her dream of becoming a part of the NFL didn’t materialize, she definitely achieved immense success in her main endeavor.

Simone Biles has been actively engaged in helping people in need. She has used her fame to good effect, and recently she was recognized for it with a great award.

Biles, along with star soccer player Megan Rapinoe received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. On receiving the medal, Rapinoe claimed Colin Kaepernick inspired everyone to follow this path.

She said, “Colin Kaepernick, you’re so brave, and you gave us all the path to use our voice.” Rapinoe was “totally overwhelmed and completely honored” to receive the award.

Simone Biles and Megan Rapinoe are two icons of women’s athletics in the USA. When they received the medal, it would have inspired a lot of young girls who are seeking to make it big.

These two stars have laid down the path to follow. Hopefully, other female athletes will be able to follow in their footsteps. Biles also showed that aiming to become a cheerleader is a very proud dream. Many young cheerleaders will also get inspired by seeing that an athlete like Simone Biles also dreamt of becoming a cheerleader.
