Following covid-19 regulations in sports, many players have been facing some difficulties due to their vaccination status. Now, New York Yankees star, Aaron Judge, is the latest member to be added to that list.

Recently, during his media address ahead of the 2022 season of Major League Baseball, Aaron Judge didn’t reveal his vaccination status. And it might not be good news for him, considering the Yankees play their opening game at the Bronx.

After the covid-19 pandemic put a stop to day-to-day activities all ground the globe, normalcy took time to kick in. But as businesses began lifting the dust off their shutters, vaccination regulations turned into a priority, in some cases even mandatory. So is the case in many sports and tournaments as well.
Earlier, during a media address ahead of spring training, the Yankees star didn’t reveal his vaccination status; instead, he dodged the question. As per a report of SI, Judge said that his only focus is on the first game of spring training. He also said that he is not worried about the vaccination.

“I’m so focused on just getting through the first game of spring training,” Aaron Judge said. “We’ll cross that bridge whenever the time comes. But right now so many things can change so I’m not really too worried about that right now.”

Following his comments, the Yankees star has been facing severe backlash on social media. Because if Judge doesn’t reveal his vaccination status, he might not be able to play at the Bronx. As per NYC Mayor, every private sector employee must be inoculated against the COVID-19 vaccine.
