Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez knows how to stay in the mainstream media. And that is probably the main reason why he is still a brand in the baseball world. Once again, A-Rod’s recent comment has sparked controversy across the sporting world.

Even after years of his retirement, A-Rod is still one of the most bankable baseball stars in the world. Over his 20 year career in Major League Baseball, A-Rod has won everything a baseball player dreams of. Despite being a controversial public figure, A-Rod was a top-level player.

Recently, A-Rod raised controversy with his statement on a neighborhood in Miami. The Yankees legend termed Kendall as a hood.

Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez is in the spotlight again. Just two days before, the regular season of MLB started and now he is all over the internet with his recent controversial statement about a Miami neighborhood.

Recently, A-Rod appeared on the Pivot Podcast and said that his childhood neighborhood Kendall is a hood. “Let me bring it back a little bit to where I grew up, right here in the hood. A neighborhood called, ah, Kendall. It was probably like 99 percent Latinos,” said A-Rod.

After his comments on Kendall, netizens slammed the Yankees legend on the internet. People trolled him and claimed that Kendall is the most suburban place to live in Miami. 

While one Twitter user said A-Rod is so rich that he thinks Kendall is a hood.

Over his 22 years of MLB career, A-Rod has played for Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and the New York Yankees. A-Rod established himself as a legendary player at the Yankees, where he spent his maximum time in baseball.
