Tom Brady Sends Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez New Gear, New York Yankees Legend Reacts

The worlds of sports often collide, even more so on social media. And sometimes, when top athletes engage on social media, it’s about their merch. In a similar interaction on Instagram recently, Alex Rodriguez took to thanking Tom Brady for some of his hoodies. A-Rod was seen sporting these in a story that he posted on Instagram and was quick to thank the NFL legend for it.

The former New York Yankees player has recently undertaken several business operations and is reinventing himself as a businessman now. The nature of his new ventures includes a variety of investments under his chief corporation, the A-Rod Corp. The firm includes ventures around private equity and venture investments and builds on his initial real estate investment. Also forming a part of his business initiatives are a SPAC and an ownership stake in two professional basketball teams.

A-Rod thanks Tom Brady

In his Instagram story, A-Rod can be seen sporting the Brady branded hoodie. During a break, he took some time off his busy schedule in between his work commitments to thank the athlete.

Rodriguez personally posted to his Instagram account and tagged Tom Brady’s official handle to thank him for it. While Rodriguez retired in 2016, Brady is still active in the NFL. Sporting the #12 on his jersey, Brady takes the gridiron as quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.

Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez – A World Series Champion

Rodriguez grew into Major League Baseball as one of its stars from the time he stepped into the league. Initially drafted by the Seattle Mariners, Rodriguez spent a few years with his debut franchise before choosing to shift base to the Texas Rangers.

However, his most successful stint came with the New York Yankees when he won a World Series with the Bronx Bombers in 2009. He went on to sport the pinstripes until his ultimate retirement in 2016.

Since his retirement, A-Rod has enjoyed a stint in sports punditry and as a broadcaster. In fact, there was also talk of A-Rod getting a Manningcast type broadcast as ESPN reshuffles its broadcast schedule. This could, however, mean that fans see A-Rod out of his usual spot on Sunday Night broadcasts and analysis.
