However, on the last day of 2022, Bumstead shared an unseen image of him on Instagram, along with a self-care message.

A large part of Chris Bumstead’s fame can be credited to social media. The bodybuilder keeps his followers engaged with regular interactions through the giant platform. However, weeks before Mr. Olympia 2022, Bumstead decided to prioritize peace of mind over his social media popularity.

Winning the title for the fourth consecutive time, Bumstead got jaws dropping as he walked onto the stage with his eye-popping body. However, while building a competition-worthy physique, Chris Bumstead shared only glimpses of his training process.

When the competition is over, the bodybuilder shared images of his muscular body. In his recent Instagram post, Bumstead shared an unseen image of him flexing his abs, quads, and biceps in his garage.

Moreover, he added a self-care note that indicated his thoughts while preparing for bodybuilding championships. Chris Bumstead revealed that he tries to stay away from opinions and hype before the last few weeks of the competition. He wrote, “I was holding back all the garage shots this year. The closer I get to show day the more I like to hide and block out as much noise and opinions as possible.”

The bodybuilder shared that he mostly watched car reviews and movie trailers on YouTube. Although Bumstead has a huge social media presence, he is a peace-loving man. However, he admitted that it is tough to turn off social media. Bumstead added, “It’s not easy when social media is such a large part of my life, but just as I choose what put out there I also get to choose what I take in.”

Furthermore, he also explained how peace of mind was necessary for him to take control of his mind. “Peace of mind is priceless leading up to a show and the more you control what enters your mind the more in control of your mind you can be,” he said.
