Simone Biles is one of the most popular Olympians in the world and has had a massive influence on the youth. Biles was in a relationship with former gymnast and wrestler Stacey Ervin Jr. They were in a relationship for nearly 3 years. However, the couple broke up in 2020.

The most decorated athlete in the world has been in the spotlight ever since she won the World Championships on her debut. Her fame kept rising when she was with Ervin Jr. Fans loved it when the couple would share photos on their social media accounts. They were very supportive of each other, and Ervin would be present at most of her competitions, cheering for her.

Currently, Ervin is a fitness coach and shares glimpses of his workout on Instagram. He was a former gymnast in his college. Recently, he shared a video that left the internet in splits. In the video that he posted on Instagram, he does an exceptional backflip with two spins.

Ervin captioned the video,“It’s the stuck landing in the exact take-off spot for me. Low-key, as a collegiate gymnast at the University of Michigan, I had the highest stick percentage (no steps/movement from your final skill) on the team during my Senior season.” Ervin’s video showcasing his clean gymnastics moves blew up the internet. Fans appreciated how clean and smooth his landing was.

Simone Biles and Stacey Ervin’s relationship

Simone Biles met Stacey Ervin for the first time when her grandmother hired him to be her gym trainer. They both got acquainted with each other and were friends for a long time. They started dating in the Summer of 2017. Simone described it to be her first relationship. She was 20 back then. They had been open about their relationship and Simone even gave interviews regarding the same.

In October 2019, the video of Ervin cheering for Simone from the stands had gone viral on the internet. Fans loved how supportive Ervin was of her. They would even write appreciation posts for each other on their Instagram account.

Simone even described Ervin to be ‘the man of her dreams’ while wishing him on his birthday. However, things didn’t work out between them. They broke up in March 2020. “It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it but it was for the best”, she said regarding their breakup.
