Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have become quite the power couple since they started dating during the pandemic. However, recent developments seem to have left the actor questioning her decisions. On her Instagram story, Nina Dobrev posted a clip of their vacation.

What happened with Nina and Shaun White?

The pair is currently vacationing in Mykonos, Greece. Nina put up a story on her Instagram fooling around with her olympian boyfriend as they carry their suitcases along the street. In the video, we see White get grounded trying to balance himself on two suitcases as he wheels them along.

While White is busy doing what Nina likes to call ‘Island Falling’, the story is captioned, “See what I’m dealing with?”. As the pair continue to fool around, Nina also claims that it’s a “good thing he’s pretty”. Of course, it is all in good humor as we see the couple laughing about and enjoying their stay in Greece.

Both Nina and Shaun love to spend time together, and we often see them away on vacation. Earlier this year, they were spotted at the Super Bowl together and even Coachella. Their holiday in Costa Rica was also a topic of envy for many.

Shaun White’s retirement

Shaun White is often referred to as the GOAT of snowboarding, and for good reason. The athlete has had a legendary run on the slope. Notably, he has secured three Olympic golds in the halfpipe along with 13 titles at the Winter X Games. He has even won 10 ESPY awards throughout his career. And let’s not forget how White became the first person in history to score a perfect 100 at the 2012 X Games in Aspen.

The 35-year-old looked back on his illustrious career when he announced his retirement, influenced by his injuries. At one point, his flowing red hair had bagged him the nickname “Flying Tomato”. White is an iconic figure in the sport and has been the face of snowboarding since 2006. Unfortunately, he retired following the Beijing Olympics, where he failed to place on the podium. But ever since, he has been enjoying his retirement with his girlfriend, actor Nina Dobrev.

Of course, that’s not where his legacy ends. White has not only competed, but also won at the Summer X Games in skateboarding. He secured five medals at the summer event, making him the first athlete to compete and win both Summer and Winter X Games. Nowadays, we often see White back on the slope but for recreational purposes.
