Politicians often use looming metaphors in their speeches. Now, who would know better to use such metaphors than a presidential candidate? However, to everyone’s surprise, in the 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton involved Michael Phelps and Simone Biles to taunt her opponent Donald Trump during a public speech.

During the presidential campaign of 2016 against former president Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton took the stage by storm. While she was highlighting the Trump government’s work, she refer to Phelps and Biles to prove a point. The former president is often involved in some political remark or other. During his tenure, some of the big names in American sports have spoken against his policies and ideas. These athletes involve NBA GOAT LeBron James, Stephen Curry, USWNT star Megan Rapinoe and many more. Subsequently, when skiing legend Lindsey Vonn took part in the 2018 Winter Olympics, she said she wanted to represent the people of the United States, not the president.
