Michael Phelps stunned to see the outcome
Preparing for the Olympics is a tough task for every athlete. In a matter of moments, they can understand if their dreams will become a reality. Some of them achieve it while others can’t. Hence, preparations are tough for most of them. In the weight of those expectations, athletes remain focused on the task ahead, rather than on other moments in their lives. This is where the problem arises.
Every single time, Phelps spoke about falling into depression after the Olympics. Hence, he was amazed to see what other athletes felt, and that they did not have anyone besides them during their tough moments. “I was shocked at just how similar our answers were. We were all saying, like, nobody helps us, and we’re just products. And our stories are pretty much the same.” said Phelps.
