Usain has partnered up with a lot of brands over the years. Even after his retirement in 2017, Bolt has increased his stardom via new endorsement deals and acts of philanthropy. He is in a lifetime deal with Puma, who had given him his first offer of $1.5million many years ago.

Another major brand that bolt has ties with is Gatorade. It is an American brand specializing in sports-themed food and beverages. Gatorade is currently manufactured by Pepsico and gets distributed to 80 countries. Bolt recently sat down with representatives from Gatorade as he talks about the impact of sports on his life.

The Jamaican was first asked when he fell in love with the sport. Bolt was inclined towards cricket, as his father was a huge fan of the game. He then grew into football before finally falling in love with track and field.

“The biggest life lesson is that hard work does pay off,” said bolt when he was asked about the biggest life lesson he had learned in sports. “My dad would really pound that into me and he led by example by actually doing it,” he added.

Finally, he was asked how his life would have been if not for sports. Bolt had no clue about it as he had always been around sports. Cricket, football, and Track & Field were all he knew growing up. He did not want to be a police officer or a firefighter; it was always sports for him.
