Utah Jazz 2021-22 NBA Roster: Updated Roster After All the Trades and Signings
Follow Us
Utah Jazz has never won an NBA title in their history. However, they have come close to winning on several occasions. Karl Malone-led Jazz made it to the NBA Finals twice consecutively in 1997 and 1998. However, they lost both the finals to Jordan’s Bulls. The Jazz has qualified for the playoffs in the past five seasons but have failed to go past the second round.
Last season, they finished top of the Western Conference with a 52-20 record in the regular season. But they lost to the Clippers in the conference semis and had to settle with the Northwest Division title. They have signed five players during the off-season and have let go of five players. The Jazz has also re-signed three players ahead of the 2021-22 NBA season.

Incoming players
Rudy Gay
Rudy Gay spent most of his career with Memphis Grizzlies, before being traded to the Raptors in 2013. However, Toronto Raptors traded him to Sacramento Kings, the same year. After spending four seasons with the Kings, Rudy signed with the Spurs in 2017 and became an integral part of the Spurs squad. He brings with him a much-needed veteran experience to the Jazz roster and could come in handy in their run for the first NBA title this season.

The Jazz finished as the Western Conference leaders last season but failed to replicate their form in the playoffs. However, with some quality additions, they have a good shot at their first NBA title. Quin Snyder has been their head coach since 2014 and with an improved roster, he can guide the Jazz to another top finish in the Western Conference.
